Cream-Cheese Buttercream

  • 100g unsalted butter, softened
  • 80g icing sugar
  • 200g cream cheese, softened
  • Flavourings (as required)

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together thoroughly.
  2. Add the cream cheese and beat thoroughly to combine. Add flavourings as desired.

Notes:

  • Not sickly sweet, so pairs perfectly with carrot cake (pictured).
